(4-29-2011; 12:50 PDT) SAN FRANCISCO [City Hall] - Supervisor and mayoral candidate John Avalos speaks at a Save the Frogs Day rally about Sharp Park Golf Course, a city-owned wetland in Pacifica. Environmentalists say the site loses money and harms two endangered species, the San Francisco garter snake and California red-legged frog, and want the land taken over by the National Park Service.
“The common sense thing now to do at Sharp Park is to close the golf course and turn management of the property to the adjacent GGNRA.” - Wild Equity Institute
